For those KWC patients seeking an intimate framework of expression, discussion, learning, and group support as they embark on their path to wellness, we have developed a purposeful resource in the KetWell Patient Connect Group. This is a series of 100% online, private support group(s) that will connect KWC Patients to one another and ask them to engage in personal check ins and group discussion on issues that affect you in and out of the treatment room.
There will be a cap on the number of participants within a given cohort. Keeping the group size small will go a long way in ensuring a meaningful experience where all can participate and be supported. We will also be featuring different types of groups including traditional support groups as well as more educational groups focused on particular strategies and topics.
Terri Kutchera, Patient Consultant, will be leading the KetWell Patient Connect Group. Having earned degrees in Psychology and Counseling, a Certificate in Education, and possessing years of experience working with individuals across a variety of mental health conditions, Terri comes equipped with the tools to create a mindful environment where participants will engage in deep sharing, self-analysis, and mutual learning.
“The driving idea behind the KetWell Patient Connect Group is that for some patients, Ketamine is only part of the journey. Participating in group coaching in conjunction with Ketamine therapy can go a long way in the patient’s redevelopment of healthy habits, as well as further cultivating a better understanding of oneself.” – Terri, Patient Consultant, Ketamine Wellness Centers
Structure & Format:
Each individual group session will be conducted via the free video conferencing tool GoToMeeting. All participants will be expected to enable the video on their device (desktop, laptop, mobile phone, tablet) in order to interact with Terri and the rest of the group. No special equipment or software is necessary to participate – just a capable device equipped with a webcam and a steady internet connection.
Group sessions will be one hour in duration, be held every other week. Meeting reminders and lecture materials will be provided prior to each session
