Stabilization Period:
This period refers to the series of initial treatments which are condensed into 1-2 weeks.
Infusion Duration: One hour
Number of Treatments: 4-6 total (varies based on the results of your screening)
Length of Stabilization Period: Within two weeks
* Typical Schedule: Four total treatments with appointments scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and then the following Monday.
*For patients traveling from out of state, we can condense the stabilization treatments into a single week in order to reduce your total travel time. EX) Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Maintenance Period:
This period refers to all ongoing treatments thereafter Stabilization.
The maintenance schedule varies for each patient but the typical schedule begins approximately ten days after the last Stabilization treatment. The next treatment occurs approximately one month after the Stabilization Period treatments. The KWC clinical staff will evaluate your progress closely afterwards. The maintenance schedule varies based on the patient’s needs with the goal of progressing into longer intervals between treatments.
