Go Orange with NERVEmber
This year, our friends at the International Pain Foundation launched an incredibly important and genuine campaign called NERVEmber. Every November, the month-long #NERVEmber campaign exists to raise awareness and advocacy to the over 150 various conditions which list nerve pain as a symptom. At the heart of this issue are the individuals who feel the physical effects of nerve pain and how their lives are impacted by it.
Here at KWC, we regularly treat patients who suffer from Neuopathic pain conditions such as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), and Fibromyaglia. With CRPS alone, we have retained a 90% success rate in being able to offer significant relief from chronic pain. By far, the most rewarding part of our work is being able to witness that relief first-hand, particularly in cases where other types of treatments failed to provide reprieve.
During the month of NERVEmber we’ll be asking you to get involved by entering our NERVEmber giveaway on Facebook. Throughout the month you can share your favorite chronic pain tips to support this great campaign. We’ll also have lots of facts, news and events throughout the month, so you can re-share important information with your friends and loved ones.
You can bring awareness to conditions by posting everyday using the #NERVEmber and #Ketwell so that we can see and share your posts.
Join us in helping to promote this worthwhile and important campaign that puts those suffering from chronic nerve pain at the center of the campaign, and are in fact, completely patient-led. Wear orange, call special attention to those in your life who might suffer from chronic nerve pain, and invite them to share their stories with those who may be unaware that such conditions exist.
