Why refer a patient to us?

In the past decade, Ketamine has been identified as having beneficial effects for those suffering with Depression, Suicidality, PTSD, OCD, and some Neuropathic pain syndromes including Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), and chronic pain resulting from Fibromyalgia and Migraines. Research studies from numerous reputable hospitals and organizations have shown impressive results in the usage of low-dose, intravenous (IV) ketamine as a treatment for such mental health and chronic pain conditions.

We here at KWC take pride in our patient screening process, as we are one of the few clinics which combine the diagnostic tools of mental health professionals (Dr. Ellen R. Diamond, Psychologist) with the precision of anesthesia community (Dr. Mark Murphy, Board Certified Anesthesiologist).

As one of the most experienced (treating patients since 2012) and reputable providers of ketamine infusions in the nation, we see ketamine as an important component in treating those individuals who suffer from debilitating conditions but have seen little relief provided through traditional therapies.

Mental Health Providers

Even among our most successful patients, we always say that Ketamine Infusion Therapy cannot be the be-all, end-all in their road to wellness. Depending on the type and severity of mental health conditions a patient is facing, the road to betterment, function, and livelihood is best approached with comprehensive wellness in mind. This is where ketamine therapy and professional counseling, psychiatric care, and behavioral advocacy can work harmoniously to uplift patients. We employ mental health professionals so that their input is front and center in our clinical program. We are happy to work collaboratively with your office with any patient referral you make to our clinics.

Chronic Pain Providers

Whether your patient is suffering from Fibrmyalgia, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), migraines, or other neuropathic pain conditions, ketamine infusions can provide substantial, long-lasting relief. If you have patients who are suffering from these conditions and not experiencing the relief they are seeking, ketamine may be an effective treatment protocol. At the very least, the benign side-effect profile of ketamine, at such low doses, will do no harm. We are happy to work with chronic pain providers and their patients in a responsible and transparent way. We celebrate excellent success rates in the treatment of particular neuropathic pain conditions and regularly see a number of referred patients able to reduce or eliminate their intake of prescribed pain medications.
