Breakthrough Innovative Treatments at Ketamine Wellness Centers

Since its discovery in 1962, ketamine has been one of the most valuable medications used in healthcare. Because of its wide range of uses and low risk of significant side effects, ketamine is used in many medical disciplines: pediatric surgeons, veterinarians, and combat medics all rely on it as part of their practice. More recently, research has shown ketamine to be a promising treatment option for chronic pain and mental health conditions.

At Ketamine Wellness Centers, we take the time to answer any and all of your treatment concerns prior to your decision to become a patient. You can contact our Patient Liaisons at any time to learn more about ketamine therapy and treatments offered at our clinics.

Your hope to be free of the symptoms of depression or pain is possible with this breakthrough therapy. At Ketamine Wellness Centers, we take that responsibility seriously—which is why our clinics are considered the gold standard in the industry.

Conditions We Treat

Chronic Pain

Since the 1960s, ketamine has been studied for its unique uses in treating pain safely.

Today, ketamine is used to treat pain conditions including Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CPRS), fibromyalgia, and phantom limb pain.

Anxiety

Ketamine has been found to relieve different forms of anxiety. It is used to treat both anxiety-specific conditions (like Generalized Anxiety Disorder) and anxiety symptoms caused by other conditions (like Major Depressive Disorder).

Learn More

Depression

Research shows that ketamine is more effective, lasts longer, and works faster than conventional antidepressants. Typically, patients feel relief from depression during the first treatment.

Learn More

PTSD

PTSD is a complicated condition with no "one-size-fits-all" treatment.

Recent studies show that ketamine has the potential to alleviate symptoms of PTSD, which may be even more effective when combined with talk threapy.

Learn More

OCD

Ketamine infusions have been found to have long-lasting and significant symptom relief in patients with OCD. While standard treatment with SSRIs can take up to 3 months to be effective, the response to ketamine treatment for OCD can be assessed in less than one week.

Learn More

Suicidality

Ketamine has been found to have rapid effects in providing relief for patients suffering from suicidal ideation. Researchers believe that ketamine is especially helpful for urgent and acute cases because of how quickly it works.

Ketamine Infusion: What to Expect

Intravenous (IV) ketamine infusion is the most common treatment at Ketamine Wellness Centers.

Each of our clinics offers private treatment rooms for our patients. We have developed a compassionate, low-stimulation environment to allow the patients to focus on themselves, their thoughts, and their emotions during the treatment.

During the infusion, the patient will be monitored by a trained medical professional who will be continuously checking heart rate, rhythm, respiration, blood pressure, and level of comfort to ensure the patient is comfortable and safe. At no time during the Ketamine infusion is a patient left unsupervised.

Ketamine Infusions for Mental Wellness

Ketamine Wellness Centers provides evidence-based treatment for mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

To ensure that ketamine therapy is appropriate for your treatment plan, you will receive a psychological assessment before officially becoming a patient. If you are approved to begin treatment, you will receive 4 or 6 stabilization treatments over the course of two weeks.

SPRAVATO® Nasal Spray

SPRAVATO® (esketamine) is available at select Ketamine Wellness Centers clinics. This unique treatment option is offered in the form of a nasal spray rather than an intravenous infusion.

Spravato is FDA-approved for adults suffering from treatment-resistant depression and major depressive disorder (MDD) accompanied by suicidal thoughts or actions.

Ketamine Infusions for Chronic Pain

Like treatments for mental health, ketamine infusions for neuropathic and chronic pain follow a specialized protocol based on scientific research and clinical expertise.

If you have a valid medical pain diagnosis, you may be eligible for ketamine therapy. KWC patients have successfully found relief from numerous pain conditions including chronic regional pain syndrome (CRPS), fibromyalgia, and trigeminal neuralgia.
